Ben Goldberg, ~ trainer, instructor, farrier - Fair Hill Farm’s all around Main Man - He has been a devoted horseman since he began riding in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park at age 4 with his father. Following his passion for horses and teaching he has incured a deverse an excellent backround in horse care, training and riding and has helped him to become a one of a kind trainer.
As an instructor at New York City's Claremont Riding Academy, he taught 100’s of riders to be safe in a small confined riding area and connect to their horses in a brief amount of lesson time.
For 10 years Ben has been a therapeutic instructor certified by PATH, the professional organization of therapeutic riding. He is a founder of GALLOP New York City’s largest therapeutic riding program, and is currently the main instructor of Fair Hill Farm Riding Academy.
Ben is a certified farrier, practicing natural trimming and shoeing for 6 years. He has also developed the grounds of Fair Hill Farm—pastures and trails—following natural grazing principles.
Art Goldberg and Michele Sands bought the farm in Tyler Hill, PA in 1997 and developed the barn and arena.
Art, a horseman for 55 years, developed Fair Hill Farm Riding Academy to help with his Multiple Sclerosis.
Michele keeps the books and pays the bills.
Andrea Anderson is an artist specializing in Equine Art. She is an accomplished horsewoman, and helps with keeping order at FHF as well as being Creative Director when necessary.
